Seth Godin’s “What Matters Now.”, in which Mr. Godin asked 70 people, to pick one word that readers should think about in 2010. They were given a page to explain why their word was important. The end result is an eclectic mix of topics ranging from “Passion” and “Compassion” to “Atoms,” “Open Source DNA,” “Slow Capital,” “Sleep,” and “Poker.” It’s a fun read. Be sure to block 10 to 15 minutes between meetings to peruse the 82 pages.
